Privacy Policy

Overview

PDF ART ("we", "us", "our") provides free browser-based and server-assisted tools for working with PDFs and images. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it.

Files you upload

Most of our tools (Image to PDF, Image Compressor, Passport Photo, Image Resizer) run entirely inside your browser — your files never reach our servers.

A few tools (PDF to JPG, Edit PDF Text, Protect/Unlock PDF) need real server-side processing. When you use one of these:

Account information (Google Sign-In)

Some tools require signing in with Google. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google and store them only in your browser session, so we can show you as signed in and let you use tools that require an account. We do not sell or share this information with third parties, and it is cleared when you sign out or your session expires.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in after using Google Sign-In. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies at this time. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall traffic, like which tools are used most. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Third-party services

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. Google's own privacy policy governs how Google handles your data during that process.

Children's privacy

PDF ART is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
